Bill Becker is an award-winning national marketing/sales consultant and builder marketing executive with more than four decades of experience in strategic marketing and positioning of active lifestyle communities. Before forming his own company, he directed market planning strategy and sales for Leisure Technology Corporation, a public company. Mr. Becker was responsible for the creation and implementation of proven marketing tactics and techniques for active lifestyle communities throughout the United States and Canada, including the award-winning Leisure Village and Lake Ridge communities in Ocean County, N.J. His clients and their communities have sold more than 100,000 dwelling units to the age 50-75+ marketing totaling more than $12 billion in sales.

Mr. Becker has been responsible for many builder's marketing research and feasibility studies and the strategic planning, advertising promotion, public relations, on-site merchandising and sales programming for small, medium and large projects. Market planning strategy, tactics and sales techniques form the basis for the creation and implementation of proven marketing strategies. A firm believer in practicing what he teaches, he still works on-site with sales counselors using his many years of knowledge to help close sales.

In 2005, he was given the ICON award by the NAHB’s 50+ Council. He is a sought after author, speaker and trainer. In the past several years, 50+ Magazine recognized him as one of the most important figures in the Mature Market Industry.

His latest book, being published in the summer of 2009, "The Professional Reference Manual for Marketing a 50+ Active Lifestyle Community," is a handbook of strategy, tactics, ideas and solution for successful marketing a 50+ community.
